Gavin Marais - EX-IT and XBRL South African Board Member

Gavin Marais (BCom Accounting), is the Director of XBRL South Africa and vice-chair of Jurisdiction Development in Africa for XBRL International, Inc. He is also a director of eX-IT Software (Pty) LTD, leading provider of XBRL Solutions and Services in South Africa and one of the founding members of XBRL SA. Gavin is the author of various taxonomies, including the South African extension taxonomies based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
