Barry Thomas, Technical Director of LIXI Ltd.

Barry has been involved with LIXI right back to the original idea to found a standards body for Australian mortgage
lending. He served as a member of the LIXI Board for several years and has been the Technical Director from the
outset. His background is more IT than lending as such, but after all this time he feels he now knows more about loan
processing than any one person should reasonably be asked to store in his head.

Barry has degrees in knowledge management, document management and law. He has 20+ years experience in software
development, technical documentation, quality management and process improvement. He is bad at small talk and his
attempts at dinner party conversation are execrable. He is the kind of person who appreciates the opportunity to use
words like "execrable" in a sentence.
